WFF in Canada
As the Chair of the Women's Foodservice Forum and on behalf of our members, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our first international contingency of WFF members. It is because of the enthusiasm and initiative of the founding parties and sponsors in Canada that the vision and mission of WFF exists in your country today.
For more than 20 years, the Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF) has led the industry's efforts to develop gender-diverse leadership talent for all segments of the foodservice industry - operators, manufacturers/suppliers and distributors. And we have made important differences in the personal and professional lives of individual members and the foodservice industry at large through superior programming and networking opportunities.
Simply put our goal is to Advance Women Leaders by creating "Ready Women" and "Ready Organizations". WFF gives women the opportunity to be prepared to take on leadership roles to help their company grow and succeed in the foodservice industry. These same women can influence their organization to help insure they are proactive in advancing, leveraging and acknowledging the female talent in their companies and in our industry.
There are no excuses. This is non-negotiable. Gender diverse senior leadership teams, boardrooms and CEO suites must be a priority for every company within our industry. As Chairman, I am committed to continuing these important initiatives that my predecessors and fellow board members instituted.
Sincerely,
Carin Stutz
2011-2012 WFF Chair
President Global Business Development, Brinker International
